Cher Sings ‘Fernando’ In ‘Mamma Mia 2’ And Her Rendition Conjures A Beautiful Nostalgia!


I’ve been waiting for this ever since I saw it in the trailer! I can’t help it, the voice of this woman is… indescriptible, wow! It’s just all that she sings I love it, and every day I love her more and more!

Her voice is so beautiful! I’ve been waiting for Cher to sing ‘Fernando’ for like my whole life! This might also mean she might release this song as a new single soon!

Cher is a timeless Goddess and at age 72, she has proven yet again that she can “turn back time” and continue to wow at any age. The Oscar winner appears in “Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again!” where she sings a stunning rendition of ABBA’s “Fernando” alongside beloved actor Andy Garcia. (Beware if you don’t want to hear any “Mamma Mia” spoilers…)

Cher fans are thrilled to have singer’s presence the highly anticipated film, but they have to wait towards the end to see her in action. Cher plays the role of Sophie’s grandmother, and the late Donna Sheridan’s mother named Ruby Sheridan. Cher was reportedly thrilled to work alongside Garcia.

“They were amazing together, had amazing chemistry,” “Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again!” producer Judy Craymer told Vanity Fair. “I think her moment at the end of ‘Fernando’ is so empowering. I think that whole song is so optimistic to women everywhere—that love can suddenly be found again.” Fernando’ Performed by the cast of mamma Mia! Here We Go Again. Cher appears pretty near the end of the film to play the role of Sophie’s grandmother, and the late Donna Sheridan’s mother.
